Learn to surf in Peniche, near Lisbon!
Portugal is undoubtedly one of the best surfing destinations in Europe, especially the Algarve area in the south. But if you are spending a few days in Lisbon and you feel like surfing the Portuguese waves, Peniche is another of the favourite Portuguese coastal areas for surfers, as beaches like Praia de Medão Grande or Praia do Lagido have big waves also known as supertubos.
If you’ve never surfed before, don’t worry, because Mocean Surf Peniche’s surf instructors will teach you the basics to master the waves on your surfboard. These surf lessons take place at Praia do Consolação and last for 2 hours, during which the instructors will explain how to get on the board, paddle and ensure the activity is safe before putting everything you’ve learnt into practice in the water. You can choose between a one-to-one lesson or a group lesson.
