Overview
This forest bathing program in the Sonian Forest is suitable for anyone who would like to smell, touch, hear, savor, see and feel nature deep within. We will meet at 9 am at the Sonian Forest and finish at 1 pm. In that time, we will carry out a five-step immersion in the forest and a final closing ceremony in which we will share our impressions. Forest bathing is as much an experience of the self and nature, as it is a meditative practice. Throughout the morning, we will work on ceremonial slow-pacing, and conscious attention, as well as tune into our senses and breath. As we do this, we will regain a sense of balance, bring our levels of anxiety down, enjoy simple details such as the rustle of leaves, and then have a chance to embrace the moment by sharing our impressions with the others in our group.
