To begin, you will meet your experienced guide at the starting point in Rovaniemi (pickup is available from selective hotels). From there, you will travel to a frozen lake in the middle of the peaceful Lappish forest. A traditional Finnish sauna is heated in advance for you to relax and enjoy the gentle steam wrapping around your body. The guide will give you some instructions on how to utilise the sauna in Finnish style. The sauna will help to loosen up your body and release all of your strains. The Finnish way to cool down is by dipping into the icy cold water of the lake or rolling in the sparkling powdery snow.
After heating up in the lakeside sauna in Rovaniemi, you’ll have the opportunity to walk into the middle of the frozen lake and gaze upon the bright clear sky full of stars. If you’re lucky, the amazing colours of the Northern Lights may appear! Blueberry juice is available to enjoy while you admire the night sky. After enjoying the stillness of the location, you will return to the starting point in Rovaniemi.
