Overview
Halfway between Mont-Tremblant and Mont-Laurier, a team of Nordic dogs is waiting to take you on a dogsled ride at Rivière-Rouge, in the heart of the Laurentians. For around 1 hour, you will have the pleasure of gliding along trails between wide open fields and wooded, undulating terrain, pulled by your team of Nordic dogs, which will follow the guide’s lead. The adventure is a little technical, but that is the charm of it all, and you will have a great time discovering dog sledding in Rivière-Rouge!
As a driver of the sled (14 years/90 lbs minimum) or as a passenger, depending on the distribution of participants by the guide, you will enjoy a superb adventure to share with your family, your partner or your friends. Before you start your dog sledding excursion in Rivière-Rouge, you will receive a briefing on driving the sled, which requires a certain amount of physical effort. Finally, to round off the activity in style, you will have time to pet the dogs and then debrief the experience with your guide over a hot chocolate in a yurt!
