Your workshop kicks off at a one-of-a-kind Boston art studio, where the two of you will start by tracing your unique designs onto pieces of blank fabric. Whether you bring an abstract pattern, a beloved cartoon character, or something entirely original, you can create just about anything. Pro tip: for best results, avoid intricate details and photorealism.
Then comes the fun part: bringing your pieces to life with rainbow-hued yarn! Using a state-of-the-art tool, you’ll create rows of gorgeous, fluffy tufts. Plus, there are several rug sizes and class durations available:
Small Rug (17″ x 17″), 2 to 3-hour class
Medium Rug (10″ x 24″), 3 to 4-hour class
Large Rug (28″ x 28″), 5 to 7-hour class
Once your rugs are tufted to perfection, the studio handles all the finishing touches, and in most cases, you can take your creation home the same day!
