Join us for an unforgettable experience in our award-winning sterling silver ring-making workshop, where you’ll create your very own ring from scratch! Begin your journey by selecting the length of silver you need, based on your chosen finger size. Using a handsaw, you’ll cut the silver to size and then shape it around a ring mandrel with the help of a mallet.
Under the guidance of our expert tutor, you’ll witness the soldering process firsthand, as she demonstrates each step. You’ll then learn to file your ring using various hand files, allowing you to personalize the shape and curve to your liking. This is a fun part of the process, as it significantly influences the final appearance of your piece.
Next, you’ll have the opportunity to add texture to your ring using a planishing hammer, letting your creativity shine and making your ring uniquely yours. Finally, you’ll choose your preferred polish—whether you desire a rustic, artistic look or the gleaming sparkle of a fully polished finish, the choice is entirely yours!
And the best part? You get to take home the ring you’ve created as a special souvenir to remember your trip to Ireland! Join us for this hands-on crafting experience that blends artistry with tradition.
