Take a lively and fun paddle around Somers Bay of Flathead Lake, Montana and the bay’s chain of Juniper Islands. Paddle in and around the historic pier system remaining from the 1900s Somers Lumber Company.Somers Bay is sheltered and generally calm which makes it a perfect trip for young paddlers. Nature lovers will enjoy sighting mature and immature Bald Eagles along with Osprey and other native birds that inhabit the islands.On a warm day, for extra fun, we might just stop for a quick swim in the sand flats or jump off the island!
