Situated between Clonmel and Dungarvan in the Nire Valley, Hanora’s Cottage Guesthouse and Restaurant is surrounded by picturesque countryside, in which guests can enjoy hiking.
An en suite bathroom with spa bath is provided in each room at Hanora’s Cottage, as well views of either the mountain or river.
Pan fried Irish striploin steak and oven-baked Dunmore East mussels are just some of the dishes on offer in the on-site restaurant, as well as a selection of Irish farmhouse cheese with homemade crackers and chutney.
The Comeragh Mountains are a 20-minute walk away, where guests can enjoy scenic hikes. Guided walks through the mountains and surrounding areas leave every Saturday morning from the cottage. 6 golf courses can be found within 30 minutes’ drive, and reduced green fees, club hire, service and professional tuition can be arranged.
