Your rafting excursion in Durmitor National Park from Splaviste to Radovan Port begins at the meeting point, where you’ll be greeted by your experienced and friendly instructor. From there, you and your group (a maximum of 10 participants) will board the scenic transfer to the starting point of the rafting tour. Upon your arrival, you’ll receive your equipment, which includes a helmet, a neoprene suit, a belt, and a paddle. Then, your instructor will provide an in-depth safety and itinerary briefing, followed by an introduction to rafting and paddling techniques. Once everyone feels comfortable, the fun starts! You’ll let the crystal-clear waters of the Tara River pull you downstream, enjoying the amazing panorama as you paddle. In addition, you’ll pass underneath the famous Tara River Bridge, which was built in 1940 and covers the distance of the Tara River Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in Europe!

Your rafting excursion in the Durmitor National Park continues to one of the gems of the Tara River, the Ljutica Spring and River. Followed by an optional swimming stop or the chance to visit Ancient Roman ruins or the Monastery of St. Archangel Michael. From Zugica Port, the adventure continues to such notable locations as Bijela vrela, Obodina, Ninkovica Port, and Drage Canyon. Don’t forget your camera, you don’t want to miss these astounding photo opportunities! Once you’ve disembarked at Radovan Port, you’ll board the transfer to a scenic location where you’ll be treated to a well-deserved break and a delicious lunch prepared with organic ingredients (please list any dietary restrictions when booking).
