With its double waterfall of 4 and 8 meters nestled under a magnificent arch, the lower part of the Furon canyon will blow your mind! It is a very complete course with beautiful obstacles, jumps up to 10 metres and a 15 metre abseil. The possibility of avoiding the obstacles is almost permanent. Compared to the upper part of the Furon canyon, the lower part is quieter and has fewer obstacles. The water of the Furon is not very warm, but during the hot days, you will appreciate its coolness!
The Furon canyon is located in the Vercors massif, on the side of the Chartreuse massif. It is a canyon that benefits from its proximity to Grenoble and is therefore more easily accessible than most canyons. Indeed, the canyon is only 30 minutes from the city centre. The canyoning activity in Sassenage is therefore perfect to keep you busy for a half day in Grenoble. So don’t hesitate, take advantage of the proximity of nature and do some canyoning in Grenoble!
