Overview

Sample a range of hand-crafted spirits at the Mermaid Gin Talk and Tasting Experience for Two. Based in the Isle of Wight Distillery, you’ll learn all about the history and distillation process of the nature-inspired spirits on your tasting board.

Your tasting board will feature a range of 10ml spirits such as Mermaid Zest Gin, Mermaid Salt Vodka, HMS Victory Rum, and the full collection of island spirits. You’ll also be introduced to spirits that were specially crafted with a hint of sea air from wild-rock foraged samphire locally known as ‘mermaid’s kiss’.

A knowledgeable member of the team will talk you through each spirit, but you’ll also have great views of the stills in action, so you can see firsthand how the spirits you sample are produced.

Highlights

When you arrive at the Mermaid Bar at the Isle of Wight Distillery, you’ll be greeted by a member of the team who will provide you with a mermaid tasting board each.

You’ll have a range of 10ml spirits on your tasting board that you’ll sample as you learn about the unique history, ethically-sourced ingredients and distillation process of each spirit. Complimentary mixers will be provided with your tasting board, so you can thoroughly enjoy the taste and flavour of your samples.
