During this unique experience, you’ll both go behind the scenes with a professional guide, exploring how the modern classic is made, from beginning to end. You’ll kick off your journey with an introduction to the plant’s rich history and significance, and head to the body shop where you’ll see the how the framework is produced by over 1,200 robots.
As the tour continues, you’ll both follow your guide onto the production floor for an up-close view of the MINI production. Here, you’ll see how the car’s bare metal shell is welded together and watch in awe as parts are seamlessly joined by teams of skilled engineers and high-tech robots. After witnessing the most recent production, you’ll get a sneak peek into the future of MINI.

When you arrive at MINI Factory Oxford, the two of you will be greeted by a member of the team, who will lead the session. The professional guide will show you through the factory, and you’ll get a chance to see how the iconic cars are made, from beginning to end.
Throughout this 100 minute tour, you’ll both get a chance to explore the body shop, the assembly hall and the production floor. For a full tour experience, visitors are provided with audio guides and headphones.
